A set of codes that assess specific technical aspects of Aerospace design. The Suite will grow with time.
Aerospace Design codes of the COMPutational ASsessment Suite
COMPutational ASsessment Suite offers numerical modelling expertise in the Aerospace and Education sector. It comprises of the following proprietary codes, although the list will increase with time. A Finite Element code for linear static analysis. An analytical code for penetration / perforation analysis at extreme velocity impacts. An analytical code for stress analysis of shell structures. The Finite Element code has also extra modules for modal analysis and random vibration analysis but at a later date.
More codes shall be added in the future relating to specific topics, eg. a material model calibration code for metallic structures which will offer the creation of model specific input from minimal experimental data for a quick evaluation of the strength of a structure.
STRATOFEM™
A Finite Element Code for the linear elastic deformation and stress analysis of 3D shell and solid structures. The current version is available free-of-charge.
PROFILE
An analytical code dealing with the penetration / perforation of objects by ballistic impact or in the hyper-velocity range.
WINGBOX
An analytical code for the stress and displacement analysis of semi-monocoque structures.
