An analytical code dealing with the penetration / perforation of objects by ballistic impact or in the hypervelocity range
The software PROFILE
This version of PROFILE deals only with ballistic penetration of objects by long and thin impactors travelling at very high speed. It uses “long rod” penetration theory and it will be enriched by analytical predictions concerning the hypervelocity domain of application. At the moment the code is only for research or consulting purposes by COMPutational·ASsessment·Suite.
