The software WINGBOX
WINGBOX is an analytical code for the stress and displacement analysis of semi-monocoque structures. It uses Engineer’s Bending Theory and Bredt-Batho Shear Theory of thin shell structures, in combination to Unit Load Method. It produces output containing not only the stresses (bending + shear flows) and displacements along tapered structures but also the sectional properties for advanced beam Finite Elements to be used for more complex structural analyses. (eg. for wind turbine (eolian) blades, modal and stability analyses.)
